We are The Beatless...
We share a passion for the power of music and its ability to bring us together. We are a 25 year collaboration in the making, and yet we’ve only just begun. What started as an acoustic folk-trio playing a small collection of our favorite Beatles covers quickly grew to become a full rock & roll quartet that can take on any musical challenge. We are a band with a disparate name that somehow conveys the love, respect and buffoonery that define us.
We are Todd Denkmann (guitar, vocals), Jason Katner (bass, vocals), Tom Kiefaber (guitar, vocals) and Joe O’Connell (percussion & drums). We play the great musical standards from artists of every rock era, including The Beatles, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Fleetwood Mac, The Grateful Dead, Simon & Garfunkel, Neil Young, Elvis Costello, Nick Lowe, John Lennon, Talking Heads, Badfinger, The Pretenders, XTC, The Police, Willie Nelson, The Byrds, Tom Petty, Wilco, Wings and more! It’s the music that looms large in our collective presence and continues to inspire us.
We play music at select venues all over the greater Indianapolis area that share our passion for crafting musical experiences for our audience, including the Broad Ripple Brewpub, Flat Water Restaurant, The White River Yacht Club, Upland Brewery, as well as private parties, corporate events and festivals such as Carmelfest. We can accommodate any size event and work with your entertainment budget.
